Miranda's 29th Birthday was quiet. The birthday gathering was cancelled because Mark was called into work. Kind of a bummer but on the plus side, Miranda went shopping instead and had a field day at DSW! SCORE! Next year it's on. 30 will be big, we promise.
Our Sister-In-Law Marcia turned 25 and has a party at their house. It was a good time, and the birthday girl had a good time, which is what matters most.
Easter was busy busy busy. We were at Mark's parent's for the first part of the day and at Miranda's Aunt Jeanmarie's for the second part. Miranda made festive Easter cupcakes for the Lane's and a carrot bundt cake with lemon cream cheese frosting for the MacDougall/Snyder/Yorke/Gambinas. It was a nice day. Miranda Jill and Emily spent some time on Emily's laptop planning our (hopefully) 2010 trip to Ireland for Emily's 16th birthday. Joshua was actually there and we had a great time talking with Ian and Emily. They are fantastic kids, we love them.
We are so so so excited about all the upcoming plans we have. In May, we are going on vacation with Mark's cousin Sean and his girlfriend Gabbi to the Dominican Republic, which will be so much fun. We have a Met's game in a suite to go to in June along with a Broadway show (Rock of Ages) with Chris and Marcia (her b-day present from us.) A Jackson Browne concert at Foxwoods in July as well as some time at a Fire Island rental (maybe.) U2 with Stefanie at Giants Stadium in September along with Miranda going to see Wicked with the Snyder girls and Our BIG trip to Colorado in November where we will be going to the Giants/Broncos game on Thanksgiving night. WOWSERS that is a packed schedule already. How FUN!
